Enjoy three unique golf layouts and play through parkland, prairie and wetlands at Brooks National Golf Club. Serving the golfing public since 1932 with an updated expansion to 27 holes completed in 1999, Brooks is a beautifully maintained course accommodating seasoned veterans and beginners seeking a challenging game.


Multiple tee selections, bent grass fairways and greens make a round at Brooks an essential experience while visiting the Iowa Great Lakes. Brooks National Golf Club's benchmark commitments to quality playing conditions encompass wildlife and water through certification with the Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary System.  


Practice facilities are designed so you can work on all aspects of the game, and instruction is provided by local and nationally acclaimed teachers. Tee times may be reserved up to 30 days in advance, walkers are welcome and twilight rates are available.

Indian Hills Golf Club, a daily fee course, is located in Okoboji at the Iowa Great Lakes. Indian Hills is a gorgeous 9-hole golf course that is nestled among gently rolling hills and guides you around our own Bass Lake. Picturesque views are abundant from anywhere on the golf course. During your round enjoy the native prairie grass, wild flowers, lake and wild life.


Indian Hills is beautifully maintained and always in excellent condition with sculpted fairways leading to the undulating greens. Indian Hills is a very playable golf course in Okoboji. Indian Hills has a variety of tee boxes that offer all levels of golfers their choice of a relaxing or challenging round.


Because of this variety, Indian Hills has become popular with the local golfers as well as visitors to the Iowa Great Lakes. Indian Hills is located one and a half miles west of Spirit Lake on Highway 9.


This beautiful course plays all of the 6,651 yards from the championship tees.  The greens at Emerald Hills are notes for their steep slopes and quick breaks.  Bring along your best putting skills, as they will hold and reward a lofted shot.  


This course is 40 years old and groomed to perfection with wide, watered fairways and strategic bunkering. The par 4’s are an outstanding feature of this course, with challenging doglegs and looming bunkers. The clubhouse, lounge and pro shop are all first class, and their friendly staff offers a large selection of golf merchandise, sandwiches, snacks and a full-service beverage bar.  


There is a convenient driving range for practicing, as well as group or private lessons offered by Randy Rohlfsen, a PGA professional. Summer junior programs and golf camps are also offered. Tee times are recommended, especially on weekends and holidays.
